British Columbia is one of the most serene and beautiful provinces in Canada and as one of the weather-friendly provinces, B.C. enjoys some of the best outdoor activities and some of the best discount shopping available in Western Canada.

Not all discount shopping needs to occur in larger malls. Many shopping centers that can be found in Surrey B.C. have a wide of variety of discount shops and services including shopping malls and centers which range from architecturally stunning malls to the many Asian-influenced malls.  Such great shopping centers include:  Guildford Town Centre, Dell Shopping Centre, Impact Plaza, Panororama Village, Semiahmoo Shopping Centre and Central City Shopping Centre, First Pro Surrey West, Newton Town Centre, Penesula Village, South Point Exchange, Clover Square Village, Fleetwood Park Village Shopping Centre, Nordel Crossing and Riverside Heights Shopping Centre.

Some of the shopping centres in these areas also have dental and medical centres inside along with pharmacies and colleges. A vast majority even have supermarkets in them also. Basically you can go to the mall have your hair done, buy clothes, accessories, shoes, make-up, kids clothing, get groceries, have dinner and take in a movie all with one trip. Most malls are also on the public transportation line for convenience and there is normally ample free parking to be found in and around the mall.

Burnaby B.C.

Many of the best discount shopping can be found in Burnaby, B.C., located east of Vancouver, which is home to the Metropolis Metrotown; the second largest mall in Canada, has a great selection of shops and services in the mall.  Basically your one stop mall for anything you need to buy. The Metropolis Metrotown is considered a mega mall, meaning it is actually the Metrotown and Eaton Centre connected as one. It has over 38,000 square feet and house stores like The Bay, Zellers and Wal-Mart are good for discount shopping where things are reasonably priced.  Other larger specialty chain stores include Everything Under a Dollar, Gap, Banana Republic, and Nike.

The other many other malls in area such as Brentwood Town Centre, Crystal Mall (which is the second largest Asian store in the area) has over 200 stores with a food court with well over 20 vendors, Lougheed Town Centre, High Gate, Old Orchard Shopping Centre, and Station Square.  These malls also carry some of the same store names and others including The Disney Store; Build a Bear, Gymboree, Wal-Mart, and Payless Shoes. Most of these stores can provide you with discount shopping, with in-store discounts, free coupons, store flyers, and food coupons for the food courts and groceries stores furthering your savings and making your shopping experence more enjoyable.
